The Admiral Group are a multinational financial services company with their Head Office based in Cardiff, with several different arms of the business including Admiral Financial Service Limited (AFSL) and Veygo looking to scale up quickly. They needed to create a streamlined recruitment strategy without compromising on their company culture so they could have a workforce that was aligned in its common goals and values.

The challenge:

Admiral Group’s different lines of business all needed slightly different approaches when it came to hiring as, for example, AFSL is an established, profitable department with specific technical and cultural requirements which differ significantly from Veygo, who are their first start-up initiative for the insurance sector.

With this in mind, they needed a recruiting partner who could understand the scale and complexity of the wider Admiral Group and its company culture, as well as the granular needs of each line of business.

We streamlined the recruitment process and secured over 40 professionals on both a contract and permanent basis; this included Software Developers, Test Engineers, Technical Architects, DevOps Engineers, IT Support, Infrastructure/Network Engineers, Cyber Security Engineers/Managers, NOC Engineers, Development Team Leads and a CTO.
