Job description

Auditing systems based on ISO 9001 and TS 16969

Determining quality metrics for manufacturing procedures

Monitoring the entire production cycle and reporting on malfunctions

Conduct internal ISO audits to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and Standards: Primary audits ISO9001, IATF16969, VDA 6.3. Secondary audits ISO5001, ISO45001, ISO14001

Co-ordinating and managing the Integrated audit system and audit plan

Managing 8D non-conformances and follow up actions with external customers

Working with procurement team to plan and conduct supplier audits.

Reviewing and implementing customer specific requirements. (IATF requirement)

Working closely with manufacturing & engineering teams to investigate and resolve any non-confirming product or customer issues and to facilitate pro-active processes such as FMEA and 5S methods

Management of Measurement System Analysis system.

Maintaining and updating Quality Documents and supporting Document Control process

Key team member supporting and helping teams to prepare for and execute Customer onsite audits

Working with Quality Control Circles on continuous improvement projects




At least 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering from within a highly regulated environment (automotive, aerospace, medical devices etc.

Ideally educated to Degree level

ISO9001 auditor certified

Experience using and facilitating Quality Tools including FMEA, 5S, 8D, MSA and SPC
