UX Interaction Designer - Remote mix but client site based in Swansea and Newport

£30-50k & benefits depending on experience

2+ years of relevant experience building digital products

Our team and clients are based in the Swansea to Bristol region and require monthly meetings, and daily remote working from home or your local collaboration hub

We are urgently seeking an experience Digital Designer for a fast growing company. You will need to be experienced in:

  1. Creating engaging digital designs and delivering successful outcomes for clients (Essential)
  2. Be an evangelist for interaction design and foster operational best practice (Essential)
  3. Support consulting sales pipeline, author tenders and deliver pitches (Desirable)
  4. Adopt a start-up mentality, work collaboratively, and help drive growth (Desirable)


  1. Create engaging digital designs and deliver successful outcomes for us and our clients
  • You understand users and their needs, including accessibility requirements
  • You can visualise, articulate and solve complex problems, using flat graphics, user interaction and user experience techniques
  • You make disciplined decisions based on available information and research evidence. You know how to move from analysis to design proposals and pragmatic recommendations
  • You are experienced in using a variety of methods of prototyping. You can create static HTML and CSS prototypes for different screen sizes. You understand security, accessibility and version control
  • You will collaborate with teams of consultants, analysts, technologists and third-party suppliers from a broad array of disciplines to develop cohesive and compelling solutions to user needs
  1. Be an evangelist for the interaction design discipline and foster best practice
  • Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement to drive collaboration, increase velocity and improve quality of our designers
  • Maintain a relentless focus on users
  • Share knowledge through coaching and mentoring
  • Receive regular, glowing feedback from clients and team
  • Become a trusted and indispensable asset for clients


  1. Support our consulting sales pipeline, author tenders and deliver pitches
  • Support strategic market and account planning to drive business development
  • Support the identification issues for our clients to shape and convert potential opportunities
  • Support business development activities including networking, thought leadership, tendering, pitching and horizon scanning to feed our sales pipeline
  1. Adopt a start-up mentality, work collaboratively, and help drive growth
  • Be flexible and constantly look for opportunities to improve everything we do
  • Help to define and track our objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Build strong networks to spot and capitalise on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading
