Job description
We’re looking for a Quantum Platform Lead to take the reins of a world class team developing a state-of-the-art software and firmware platform. This platform has been built to operate a digital integrated chip based quantum computing system. You’ll be working alongside Quantum Hardware Engineers and industrial partners, developing innovative and novel solutions to a variety of industry challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead firmware design, development, and integration for quantum computing systems
• Build specialized firmware from low-level assembly through to higher language integration
• Analyse algorithm and end-use case requirements
• Design and implement low-latency digital signal processing algorithms optimised for a unique superconducting classical computer architecture
• Collaborate with global teams on firmware to control and operate quantum processors
Requirements:
• PhD in quantum computing or related field, with 3+ years of experience in quantum software development.
• Extensive experience with superconducting qubits
• Hands-on experience characterising two-qubit gates, randomised benchmarking, and DSP algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, Julia, and Qiskit
