Quality Engineer

Intapeople are delighted to be working alongside a global solutions provider, bringing to market an opportunity for a Quality Engineer based in Cwmbran. You will be working for a company at the forefront of a unique and bespoke technology to the Aerospace Industry. Duties and responsibilities

• Controlling quality standards (internal and external) establishing guidelines, making criteria clear, and conducting investigations
• Examine and comprehend engineering drawings, recognising important features using geometrical tolerancing, and making sure the procedure has taken note of these
• Determine the underlying source of quality problems and analyse them using statistical methods and tools
• Conduct internal system and supplier audits to find problems and assist in resolving non-conformances within the allotted period
• AS9102 (FAIRs)
• Accurate register and log maintenance
• Establish internal policies and benchmarks for performance expectations and inspection specifications
• Support the needs of production where necessary

Skills, experience and qualifications required.

• Ensure work is completed to the highest standard
• Qualified in a Quality discipline
• Data analysis
• General Mechanical & Electrical NPI knowledge
• Use of Mathematics to analyse and present facts
• Knowledge of at ISO9001 (preferred AS9100) or similar regulatory accreditation 
• Knowledge of ISO14001
