IT Project Manager – (PPM System Implementation)
£450-£500 p/day (Outside IR35)
12 month contract initially. Hybrid role, largely remote with occasional travel to South Wales and Europe (expenses paid)
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the configuration and implementation of a new Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) system.
The role will involve:
• Manage the end-to-end IT project to implement a new PPM system, working on a phased approach from system configuration and user onboarding to integrating existing applications.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee IT deliverables—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with multiple business project teams and ensure alignment of project objectives and risk management.
• Serve as the key liaison between internal tech resources and external implementation partners, managing contracts, SOWs, and delivery issues.
• Report regularly to governance bodies, stakeholders, management, and the Project Board.
If you have:
• A proven track record in managing IT application projects with both internal teams and external partners - this is a manufacturing environment so most stakeholders are very focussed on as little downtime / disruption as possible.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-cultural communication skills with fluency in English.
• Excellent project planning, resource management, and risk mitigation abilities.
• A proactive, detail‑oriented approach with the ability to work in a dynamic, multi‑location environment.
